Very disappointed at how this turned out. I dont really care about getting or not getting the bid. It's that I was told I would get a response either way and of course it does not go down like that.

Thread is done and I really start self-loathing about this.

So no response at all? Maybe you could send a communication and flat out ask them what caused your bid to be declined (obviusly a lower bid I suppose) and let them know you are there should they need your services in the future.

I blame my mother for this.....for this reason.....she drilled in me for a long time that I should not be late in anything. It is a sign of conceit to monopolize a person's time because I could not plan well. It is an itch I still have to scratch even today

Final Update : No word either way as to the bid amount. It is like the job went away. I have had conversations with the gentleman since and he doesnt bring it up. I do not have enough time in my schedule now to do it anyways....disappointed but typical...until you get the money never count on it.
