RayRay I left to play golf just before you posted this.

The game is up and down RayRay. I go along for a few holes and everything is fine and then all of a sudden I'll come over the top and the rest of the round I am fighting it. Also my 9-Iron is killing me. I hit my pitching wedge comfortably 120-125 and can get 135 out of it if I press and pure it. The 9-Iron should be comfortable from 135 to 145 but I shut it down at impact ever friggin time and hook the piss out of it. No other club do I do this with, just the 9. So I have to baby an 8-Iron for those distances and sometimes when I baby a club I decelerate.

Other than those little wrinkles game is fine but until I get those things fixed I'll not likely get to single digits.
 
wally, first thing i would do on your next day off is take your clubs in and get the lies checked... good chance your 9 iron has been bent a tad upright... but its best to get all the lofts and lies checked...summer time, ground can be hard in places...shit just gets bent sometimes...

RayRay, I play my irons 2 degrees upright already. I am only 5'10" but I bought a set of custom irons off a guy once who was 6'6" and adapted my swing to fit those irons. Now I always by upright irons.

I really should get a custom fit myself and work on a swing better suited for myself rather than adjusting to clubs though.

What did ya get Tully?

I am playing K-15 irons, G-15 hybrids and a I-15 driver but I am seriously consider going Talormade soon. I have hit the Super Fast 2.0 driver and I gained 30 yards. I have this affliction that all clubs need to match so if I change drivers I have to change everything.
 
wally...good chance that 9 iron has moved off of the 2 deg. uprightness ... it could be 4deg or more for some reason....like i said, clubs bend all around from season to season...from what you are telling me, i would be very surprised if thats not the case
 
im a titliest guy...titliest driver/3wood ... 690mb's and 18 deg hybrid... cleveland wedges...cameron putters...i have quite a few sets of clubs, 4 titliest and 2 hogan apex and 2 mizuno... nothing newer than 2008...

i just dont get to play that much anymore...i have a plan to begin competing again when i turn 40...i just got to a point where i wasnt getting better with the time i had to practice/play and my country clubs longer course is just fucking brutal at times and beats you up if you are flailing away at it...it got to be too discouraging after a few summers of grinding...im in much better shape now and will work on my game more, but sometimes it just defeats the purpose since i dont really have time to play/practice but a day or two a week during football/college hoops season.

You give me too much credit Reno, that wasn't an attempt to crush, I was trying to find a interesting way to say what RayRay does on the side without alerting the authorities. Facilitating the means to the misery of others could very easily be interpreted as a banker.

I was under the impression that RayRay doesn't work a normal type job though.

RayRay, if the above comment wasn't taken in the smart ass way it was intended and if it offended you or hurt your feelings in any way I sincerely apologize and hope you grow the fuck up. :grin:
 
oh no, i knew what you meant...i get you wally! others might not, but I DO! haha ... wally, if i could get more people to use the computer, my life would be so much easier...unfortunately, with the clientele i have, that isnt going to happen ... so summer mornings are usually for grading and its too fucking hot to practice during the middle of the day where i live, and then its back to the phones in the early afternoon... and football season is, well, football season...

ill hit a few balls on cam next week...next week will be the start of me taking a little time to myself and it cant get here fast enough
 
Ray ray I'm mobile now. The first shot, which was a but more under control is a more accurate idea of my swing. I was trying to hit the vid above 160 over the park fence. Can you post the goolf vid that just loaded under chiarchie at youtube
