Kato, if you watch game film, highlights or whatever my logic isn't flawed. The things I pointed out that wasn't being taught to these players are obvious for anyone who has coached or understands the game. Meyer is a product of talented players and very good assistant coaching, obviously Adazio the exception here cause he blows.

Utah can have him back, hell I wish he had stayed in the first place.

Kato, I am not a bitter fan, I stated very clearly I didn't like the hire in the first place and I knew I hated it the first time under Urban we are inside the friggin 5 yard line in a stupid ass spread offense.

Kato, you like the guy and you are entitled to that opinion. Would I rather have Zook, no. Ron Zook is a great at recruiting but not head coach material. I like the spread offense but not the PREDICTABLE and REPETITIVE way it was used and NOT inside the 5 yard line.

There are parts of Urban's offense that have their place and are successful but again it has more to do with the FORMER assistants and players. Kato, ZBoiz could take the talent Florida has had while Urban was here and won as long as he had Mullins and Strong on his staff.

:lmao:

this is news to me, havent heard about this. been at work freezing my ass off all day.
I side with Wally on this one, Strong, and Mullin made those great teams along with the talent.

I imagine he was given the option to step down or be fired though.
bodes well for UGA picking up some key recruits from our neighbor to the south
I hope they bring Zook back

Kato, his system will work for a period in that conference, maybe longer there than in the SEC but if teams adapt defensively as the SEC adapted it will run it's course and fizzle out. Will he win a National Title at Ohio St, I would bet no.

On a footnote though as seen what he has done at Temple, Adazio may not have been as bad as they appeared here. It may very well have been the stranglehold Meyers had on him to run his system.

Zook's coaching abilities may be questionable but in his time here he was one of the best recruiters Florida has ever had.

Choo, is right about recruits coming to Ohio St based on Meyer's coaching. Many still believe and may even be right that he is THAT good, I'm just not one of the believers.
