I lived in Texas for a while growing up and always loved the town of Austin and though the texas football program may spend a ton they definitely generate a ton of revenue but this is a pretty bad loss and probably more calls for Mack to step down if they have another dismal year. Texas has the money to spend on any coach they want. Enormous revenue and expenditures but they have a dismal record since 2010. Texas went 5-7 in 2010 , in 2011 they go 4-5 in big 12 play and earn a holiday bowl berth. 9-4 last year. You have a ton of money being spent, stuff like the Longhorn network, Mack Browns pay knocked up to 5.5 million a year. I think the highest paid coach in college football behind Nick Saban.
Saban will probably be playing for another national championship, Texas may be playing in the beef obradys bowl or the Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl, maybe a shot at the san diego credit union poinsetta bowl?
Poulan Weed-Eater Independence Bowl?
