Is that really a regret at this point? How would things be any different?

I think the vast majority of people would have all five of those regrets, to varying degrees. I should set that as my desktop wallpaper and leave it there forever.

1. I wish I would have let myself be happier.
2. I wish I would have been with Steven from the start, and not have become involved with certain people. (trust me, on my side of life, it would have made a lot of differences,)
3. I wish I would have made more responsible decisions as a young adult.
Any thing, and everything else there is to regret, hinges on items already mentioned, that being said, I don't know that I would regret my life, as much there are things I would have most certainly have done differently, were I afforded the opportunity. After all, in said hypothetical case, you can't miss what you never knew.

Although I don't have kids, I would think that would put a strange twist on regrets.

I doubt anyone would openly regret having kids, even if they regret former baby mamas/daddas..

Blitty, I certainly do not regret my children, I simply would have waited to have them, and would have had them with the right partner. I guess you could really say the same for any ones life, that any number of circumstances could go in any given direction and change the outcome of their life, for better or for worse. That will never happen though, so this is my life, and I will make peace with it and be happy with what I've got!
