Matty wins and the Habs will lose. I still don't understand why a franchise would re-hire a coach who underachieved when he coached mega stars like Crosby and Malkin in Pittsburgh. If he couldn't win with them then he's in for a huge surprise in Montreal. The only good thing about this for Habs fans is that Therrien openly criticized Gomez, but most hockey followers know that no matter who coaches the Habs it's unlikely that Gomez would be on the roster next season.

Pens would have been much stronger if all remained healthy and had a 100% healthy game conditioned Crosby.

Crosby had 37 points in 22 games when he came back Plommer. Doesn't sound like his melon is dry to me. Maybe a little out of game shape when he returned though.
