I'm not sure what they mean by National Rehabilitation Awareness Week. Rehabilitation is a word that can apply to many things but I'm going to go ahead and use it as it applies to addictions. As a recovering addict, I need to keep on top of that shit this month which I expect to get very stressful from this point on.

No problem at all. I have talked about it freely, extensively (ad nauseum?) on the forums for years.

My drug of choice was: everything. Not avoiding the question; that is really the only answer. Alcohol was a constant and pot/hash were usually in the picture but the first time I went into treatment, the main problem was prescription relaxants (ativan). I have had extensive but sporadic issues with opiates, from OTC codeine to heroin. I did so much LSD as a young teen that I had to stop taking it because it was seriously scrambling my brain.

I had extended cocaine binges. I stole narcotics from a pharmaceutical company I worked for. Bennies and speed.

Everything.



I got clean and sober in 1990 and had one big relapse since then. Currently I have been continuously clean and sober for about 10 years I guess.

Yeah, hopefully it's not. I don't want to go to the other side because of cancer, I wanna die of a massive coronary while on top of a hot young latina (like the broad on the price is right - Manuela Arbelez).

I have been transplanting a bunch of my outdoor Basil plants to grow them indoors this week. Doing more tonight actually.
