The line isn't the greatest but I need to take a chance to get my bankroll back in the game after a 0-4 night last night....

Detroit has won 18 straight at home and although Anaheim is playing pretty good hockey lately, I don't see the Red Wings streak at home ending tonight.

Detroit ML is -170 but at almost 1.6:1 , it is almost profitable enough of a play to put a few units behind.

Can anyone egg me on to make this bet or try to deter me from making it? It has a bit of a sucker's bet feel to it; but I think that is from the way I'm running lately...

I think the defining factor here will be the fact that Joey MacDonald is starting in nets for Detroit and he may have the advantage because he is basically an unknown to the Ducks, which should make him harder to score on.

This is an obvious all in

You think so Daft? I mean, the Ducks are starting a long road trip. That would have to grind on you psychologically, especially starting in a rink where the home team has won the last 18 games. I am thinking of going 4 or 5 units, for me is $60- $75 or approx. 1/2 my bankroll, I'm so sure about this.

If you watch that video closer to the end even the coach sounds unsure about playing in Detroit,

Why settle for ML? That's a lot of juice.

Obviously they're going to win and it's probably going to be by more than one goal.

I'd put 50% on ML -170 and 50% on -1.5 +170.

Worst case scenario you get your money back.

Best case you win 2.7 units.

ALL ABOARD THE MONEY TRAIN!

mrquincy and fightingirish should team up and start a tout service

common tsbmy hire them

TY for thinking so Highly of me Potato;I take it as an insult that you put me in the same sentence as that moron, by the way.

When I say 'bankroll' I mean the chump change that I have on my sportsbook. I am not the kind of moron that would bet with credit cards... :missingteeth::missingteeth:

YOU LEAVE FIGHTY ALONE!

He encourages sports talk with picks on this board, just like you.

Ok; I will agree with you on that point. Unlike him, however, I would prefer to entertain some serious discussion concerning my coin flips.

I came to my senses and because of that I will still have my car and my house tomorrow ... :blittyindacity:

I bet Anaheim last night at 176.
When your bankroll is $150 you can bet any amount of it you feel like. I can't say exactly what I like about it except the price seemed too good. :dunno:

Guess I feel Anaheim is not the easiest match up for Detroit.
