So Josh Hamilton is meeting with MLB official-type folk in New York for some kind of unspecified disciplinary thing.

Now here's an interesting quote. Ken Rosenthal says he asked "a baseball executive" if it was related to PED's.

The executive replied, "Worse."

Did not elaborate.

:clueless:

The game is trying to get into the head of an anonymous MLB exec. What does he think is worse than PED's?

If an alcoholic relapses and starts drinking - is that worse? To an MLB guy?

Not sure about that.

My mind goes straight to a Ray Rice/Adrian Peterson kind of situation.

Rampant random speculation based on no information whatsoever ---> jolly good fun.

Maybe he was just talking from the human level and saying it is worse because a relapse like that could lead to death for Hamilton.

Also since he already failed an mlb rec drug test when he was in the minors

His penalty might be stiffer for a second offense of coke as opposed to a first offense of PEDs

I'm not familiar with the specifics at all though, just speculating

Josh Hamilton loves the booger sugar.

I too am addicted to the stuff, especially in winter.

The Jays own Ricky Romero ---> once disabled due to sneeze-related trauma

Speaking of which, last I heard, Romero, who was the Jays' ace about, what, 3 years ago? - and is just 30 years old ---> not expected to make the rotation at Buffalo.

:dunno:

Was thinking the same thing presently! The Inner Harbor area must hurting! We'll been there a few times and the ballpark is literally right across the street from it! Summertime IH area is packed so if it was going to happen best it is now!
