The way I use this is when the lines come out if the HOME team has a 3-point edge or the VISITING team has a 5-point edge it becomes a qualifier.

When things are rolling and I generally take a 5-point or less dog that my numbers suggest should win outright and play the moneyline.

The automatic qualifiers are........

Qualifying doesn't make them plays naturally. Heavy traffic games like Duke generally get eliminated from consideration. Small market games like Illinois Chicago generaly become automatic plays and then the rest get a further look.
