That's right, the Long Beach State 49ers -1.5 is the play tonight for me! Appears to be an even matchup on paper! 10PM ESPN2 start!
Haven't seen K ST live but better than I thought they would be considering with what they lost last year to graduation! Seem to be playing very good defense and outstanding on the boards! Samuals only guy I know but frosh Angel Rodriguez has been great of late! Play like 8 men but though there pace is fast have beaten slow pace quality teams like Alabama, Va Tech, and slightly faster WV!
LB St will be the fastest team they have played to date! Saw them handle Auburn 2 nights ago and these guys are talented! Have 7 man rotation and all 5 starters seem to be able to handle the ball and create their own shot! 49ers with their length and athleticism utilize nice half court trap but K ST might be lot more efficient at finishing to the basket than Auburn was!
Heard post game interview of LB St coach and it was an understatement in saying his team was very sloppy in their half court offense! Lots of stupid mistakes and bad shot selection. Appeared to sense Auburn not much of an opponent!
If this game turns into an up and down type of tempo IMO LB St will come out victorious! LB St appears more talented to win an up tempo style game! If K ST dominates on the boards and gets easy baskets off 49er half court press than I will be a loser tonight!
Counting on LB St team which has 4 seniors who have 30 minutes per game since frosh year combined with JR college transfer to perform at their best! Another top notch opponent so 49ers should be ready to play! K ST other than Samuels have guys stepping up well this year playing more minutes! Can they continue to perform tonight is the question!
