Just got back from the vet with Pogo. I took him in because he has been barking and whining so bad at night (I think I posted about it) and it has been more frequent and for longer periods and now during the day.

In any case they ran a full panel and his blood sugar was dangerously low. Normal is 70-140 and his was 33. She couldn't believe he was walking around wagging his tail. $200 and a bunch more appointments to follow but at least I got him in there. I have to take him back early in the morning day after I get back too.

Oh and my garage door won't shut again. This time not even manually. Fuck it. I'm leaving it open. Any danger of anything other than people stealing stuff? There is nothing in there worth stealing..

Is it going to cause my car not to start or something like that? This trip can't come soon enough.
 
Been sunny and in the 80s in Cabo all week...looking at next week...as soon as I get there it goes downhill with lots of cloudy cool days...WTH. All I wanted to do is lay by the pool....basically the whole trip...wth am I going to do now? I don't remember seeing a week like that there since I started checking. Someone do a sun dance or something. 79 degrees is still pretty warm I guess...definitely relatively warm....but I like it HOT!

The weather's probably going to be fine for the pool, and if not there will be lots of fun stuff to do. Chin up, bright side, and all that!

You need to replace the spring of your garage door. Not an impulse buy but it wouldn't shut until you do so.

Actually I called Overhead today (garage door yesterday) and they came out today...the problem had to do with a setting which had the door going too far back (or not far enough) and the rubber strip at the bottom of the garage door would stick when it got super cold. It would go up but not down. He seemed pretty certain of his diagnosis. He changed something and oiled something and the entire thing took about 5 minutes. Wonder how much that will cost. In any case, I'm glad to have it down though we did have to have it open overnight.
 
so after a week of getting postponed, the crew arrives to install my new stove top i got from sears... i clear out a little room under the stove area cus all they gotta do is take the old one out of the hole and drop the new one and plug it in... sooo i thought...

they had to exchange plug ins due to the socket, no biggie, lowes is around the corner... that was another 30min delay

now, after i had spent an hour or so shopping and measuring everything a few weeks ago, i thought "aint no fucking way will there be any fuck ups with the dimensions" this thing should drop in the current hole with ease... of fucking course not... so the guy says that i need to cut on the counter...asks if i want them to do it for 100 or i can call sears and have them do it for 175.. to run a fucking saw and cut out 1/2inch W by 30in L thin piece of counter out... are you fucking kidding me?? :robyn:

so i tell them to go ahead and do it but let me move some stuff first and by the way, i have to take a shit first, so hold on...while im in the bathroom i hear the fucking saw already... the mother fuckers started slinging wood dust all over my fucking kitchen with pots and other shit sitting all around... didnt give me time to move shit... i wanted to fucking kill them

of course i already have the maid on the phone, and of course, she is out of town... i gave the dude a hundy and got him out of there before i went nuts... i have a handful of good fake 100s, i should have given one to him for fucking up my kitchen

shit took hours to clean up...
