OK help me with one. I have a $200 free play.

If I bet $200 on +1/2 for -127 I will win $157.48

but..

If I bet $100 on +265 and $100 on +250 I will win either $265 or $250.

This is assuming the +0.5 wins..which means the +265 or +250 will win too.
 
I haven't looked too closely but you may be losing the hundred which you're not counting. You might only win 50
 
Actually never mind. Since its a free play You are better off betting longer odds, because you're not getting the original back anyway

That's what I thought. It only helps with free play. It's about the same payout if I was betting $200 real cash.
 
Not sure I'm following but betting the draw and dog separately incurs more juice. +0.5 is the better play.

Or you could lose and not have to worry about which was which.
 
Oooh, I get it now.

The +0.5 is still the least juicy play but it's irrelevant since it's free money.

not quite, but the longer the odds the closer to it.

your 200 fp will turn into $250 or $265. 1st method $157.
With 200 real cash into 350 or 365 or 357 respectively.
But you're definitely doing the better of the two options with free play, whereas with real cash it wouldn't make much of a difference :up:
