WHATEVER!!! If Don Cherry can spew his craziness then Ron MacLean can do the same. I do agree though that both english and frenchie "local" refs should not be working playoff games in the local market/area.

agreed as well. Poor Ron. It's really going to be interesting to see how things will be when Rogers basically takes over next year. Will be strange to see the Leafs play on a Sunday afternoon as well. I can't see that goign over well here in Canada in the winter with all the hockey dads, moms and players in monir hockey spending a couple hours at the rink and missing the Leafs on TV. Same with the Habs. It's just going to be a weird feeling.

Yep and I'm not joking. I can't see it working. Seriously. Montreal and Toronto have to play Saturday nights. I plan on taking my boys to Montreal to watch the Laffs play so hopefully Rogers won't fuck with my plans in a year or so, but I did read that they plan on getting the league to schedule more Sunday afternoon games for both the Laffs and Habs. I just can't see it working.
