Many predicted that, given his diminutive stature and abnormally violent delivery, he wouldn't have much longevity pitching at an elite level. Looks like it's happening already. His velocity is way down and he's nowhere near the same guy. Lincecum's average fastball was over 94 mph two years ago. Now? 91 mph. If you can't dominate NL West lineups, you're in trouble.
Really makes what a guy like Halladay is doing even more impressive. On pace to throw 270 innings this season and he's as good as ever.
