You guys are the only ones on a more or less consistent basis that are willing to discuss college hoops. So lets talk about tonights games.
When I ran the numbers this morning Delaware rated as a qualifier on Sargin but when I ran the additional filters the numbers gave a strong lean towards Towson even though Towson is 0-10 on the road this season. Since that time the line has come down from Delaware -15.5 to Delaware -13.5 so it would appear others had the same hunch I did only they got some before it lost value.
Siena didnt qualify on Sargin but did rate very high on the other filters and the line has moved appropriately since.
VCU is just too inconsistent but they did qualify on everything except Sargin.
The Drexel game is causing me to get a headache. It rated very high with the initial Sargin but William and Mary rated high in all other filters. William and Mary started the season out very poorly and while they arent lighting up anyones radar of late they are playing much better and they are at home. The line has gone from Drexel -10 to -11 so if you wanted to take a chance on William and Mary now might be the time.
The game that rated out on Sargin as well as every other filter I run is Syracuse. Add to that the fact they are coming off an upset and might be more motivated and it looks like a very strong play here. Problem is it looks too easy. I try to keep my head out of the equation but something here doesnt look right.
The other game that is sending mixed signals is George Mason. They whiffed on the Sargin but breezed through the rest of the filters. The line movement suggest that they should potentially be the play.
