Finally it is time for football investing. I love to play the preseason in the NFL because it is much more predictable than the regular season, and it gives me a chance to increase the amount of money that I am up from the start of the betting season for me, which is the Tour De France. Anyway, I like to hit some of the teams that play each other every year whether they want to or not like Miami / Tampa Bay, New York / New York, and other teams like Seattle and Oakland who always like to win their preseason games. So with out any further delay, here is a partial list of Preseason Week 1 picks:

T.B @ MIA UND 33.5 (-110) for $250
S.D -3 (+114) for $200
SEA -3.5 (-110) for $200
TEN @ SEA OVR 34.5 (-110) for $300

I will probably invest in the battle of New York this Monday to finish out the week, but I haven't looked into the history yet.

Yay! I start the NFL year going 3 - 1, and hopefully I can continue to win this year.

Today, I am investing in:

S.F -3.5 (-110) for $150
DEN @ CIN OVR 32.5 (-105) for $150
NYJ -2 (-115) for $100.

Every body knows that Indy rather not play preseason, or regular season weeks 14, 15, 16 and 17 on most years, and I think singletary is really trying to change the losing ways around the bay area, so that has me on San Frans side here.

Cincinnati's offense was pretty much not there last week, so this week, I think they are looking for more production out of their first team, then Denver will have old Tebone out there for a good portion of the game. He will either play well, or give up some interceptions that will lead to some scores hopefully, and at 32.5, I couldn't resist.

Then I just like the Jets to win in the first game of the new stadium, no reason really to back me up here, just belief that it means more to gang green.

Rage goes 2-0 on the day. 5-1 on preseason. Go green tomorrow.
 
Lets not get too excited yet. Tonight's game was the game with the least amount of confidence so I put less cash on it.
I think the Jets have a complex about the actual complex that they play in being called Giant stadium. Yeah that's my angle here, that and the history of the preseason between these 2 teams shows that Rex Ryan cares about preseason more than Cofflin does.

So far I haven't been doing too good here in Week 2. Hopefully my picks for tonight will turn things around a little bit.

I got back on track last night by going 4 - 0 and now for the preseason I stand at 10 - 4. Tonight I like the Vikings (+2.5), and the over (25.5), but I don't want to invest a regular amount on the game, so I divide it in half for the game.

O.K. here we go with the first 2 days of Week 3 in the preseason, so far I am 10 - 6, and up a little over a dime.

O.K. 2 - 1 last night to bring the overall record to 12 -7. At 63%, I'll take it.

Basically there are still a shitload of games to be played this week. If you didn't tail me last night, or the week before that, or even the week before that, or even for the Tour de France, all I can say is I hope your plays are working out for you.

Well last week wasn't the best, but I still did go 6 - 5 overall even though the money wasn't spread around to my winners in a positive manner. For the Preseason I am 16 -11 which is 59.2% so maybe this week, I can get better even though I reduce the amounts that I play in Week 4.

20 - 14. I weigh all of my plays, so it works out better money wise.
