Luckily by the time I came along my very frugal parents had given up the powdered milk, but my brothers had to live thru a powdered milk period in the 60s.

Oh, I have no idea. The way they talk it it was not good stuff. If you like it and it has more iron, then good for you! I didn't even know if they still made it. I'm not a big fan of milk in any form...except maybe ice cream.
