Ironic that if they were unemployed before the shutdown they would still be getting unemployment pay /food stamps.

The good news is I think these things don't usually last very long, usually a few days, although a week's pay can mean the difference of being able to make the rent/house payment for some. Ye

In related news, the health insurance exchanges are supposed to be in business today. I can't get past the login at the Colorado site. Registration is required, but the registration links just take you to a login page. Hilarious. Nobody tests this shit?
