Saturday NFL will be back, next week probably but certainly the week after if not. Muddy, don't sweat the stuff we can't control when there are so many things to sweat that are relevant, like THIS MANY GAMES ON MY CARD THAT CAN CRIPPLE ME!

Wally, GL as always and I love the colorful post! Big time!

Wally, fuk over there, I know you miss the gambling talk but the kiddies over there just like to rip apart poster's plays without making any themselves! If you really want to discuss sports, then just "ghost" and have at it!

What I meant Muddy, in Wally's particular situation he is banned over there and the one thing he misses is serious sports discussion that GL doesn't have! So to be able to join in he would have to create a ghost account!

Oh, I wasn't aware of the banning angle. What a ne'er-do-well that Wally is.

So then follow-up question: why are we talking about that site? (I'm assuming we are talking about SBR.) There are like a zillion capping focused sites out there and, as far as I remember - (and from what you are saying, it hasn't changed) - that is basically the worst. Even if he wasn't banned, wouldn't he be better off going, you know, anywhere else in the world?

(Not that I want anyone to go anywhere but just gabbing here.)

I wish this game at Yankee Stadium had a SEC team playing. We will see how that team speed works when they are running for the heaters. I knew Monroe was in trouble when they were worried about their undershirts yesterday, and it was 40 out.

Agree with you CB on the TCU and Ore St plays. TCU under should be good also.

They wont like it but the northern teams are not used to it either. How many games are they played in a snow blowing sideways in November in the Midwest? I spent 8 years in Illinois and I can't recall games being played in the snow storms in November.

Well at the midway point they are 5-5 with 8 games remaining. The good news, I can't lose them all. The bad news, there are still enough games out there to make in an awful day.

MrMonkey, it's ok if there is no (well much) sports talk here. I will do what I do regardless. I could do it other places but unless you are hitting consistently no use in exposing yourself to others.

Coug's you were wise to play Syracuse, maybe not so wise to not play Rice or Arizona St. Let's hope you are seriously wise with TCU and Oregon St.

Oh I forgot. Every play today is straight Saragin Ratings with no further factoring. No injury reports, no weather reports, no home court factoring, no nothing but simply subtract this rating from that rating and if there was a cushion it became a play.

But 2/3 of SEC players may see snow a day a year. There isn't a SEC team that would have scored 14 points today. Look at how Monroe dealt with 40 degree weather yesterday. Ohio players were in shortsleeves.

Like I said FW..Florida and LSU could be in trouble but Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee or Vanderbilt won't have a problem. It's not just the cold. It's also the humidity. Cold dry air is hard to breathe. I played soccer in Illinois in November in 30 degree weather. The biggest problem for me coming from an island with mild weather was I couldn't breathe the cold dry air while I was running. It was gassing me out. Maybe that's the problem Monroe had. Just guessing here. It's the same when Greece goes to play Finland in the winter and Finland goes to play Greece in the Summer. Finland can't stand the heat and humidity of Greece. And Greece can't stand the cold dry air of Finland.

Sorry Coug's, can't credit you for wise plays that aren't stated as plays till after the results are in. Plommer post many winners after the games are finished. If we went by that he might be the most successful capper at GameLive and maybe the world.
