I've been watching on Netflix the IRT series. You ever driven any of these ice roads Plommer?
Wal, I've never been that far north, and if given the chance I'd give it a shot, why not?
Having said that, I am not searching for that type of gig, I'm fairly certain I'll be staying here for a little while.
I do watch Ice Road truckers, and swamp people and a new one about crop dusters in Saskatchewan.
Plommer it sounds like those guys can make in 2 months as much or mare than the great pay you are making now for a full year.
I have learned though that northern Canadians aren't too fond of Southern Canadians. Toronto people don't like Montreal people, French Canadians don't like Canadian Canadian's, you guys are a very segregated lot.
there's one where the guys like go down in the dirty dirty swamp and blow old 100 year old logs out of the mud with dynamite... I love that one
