Was researching some new drinks for kentucky derby party. Sort of mad man era, back when playboy was good
Playboy Bourbon Cooler — early Flighty variant
the Playboy Bourbon Cooler
2 oz. fine Bourbon (Maker’s Mark or Jim Beam)
splash Punt e Mes or Sweet Vermouth
1/2 fresh lime
match with simple syrup (or even better, Miss Flighty’s Ginger Cardamom Syrup)
2-3 thin slices fresh ginger
1-2 oz (depending on the size of your glass) Cranberry juice
peel of organic non-waxed cucumber
ginger beer
orange slice (optional)

"To celebrate the birthday of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, a cocktail has been created by Salvatore Calabrese of Salvatore’s at the Playboy Club London.
The Hefner Cooler will be introduced at the London bar on Hefner’s 88th birthday on Wednesday (April 9) and made available at the club until the end of April."

40ml Bourbon
15ml Disaronno amaretto
15ml Lemon juice
30ml Pineapple juice
Diet Pepsi
Shake the first four ingredients and strain into a tall highball and then top up with Diet Pepsi. Garnish with a dry pineapple wedge, marinated cherry and mint sprig.
