still don't know about Florida yet. He has a third interview with them set up for Halloween. I am sure that is some major irony right there. His dad is out of the hospital but was sounding kind of weak yesterday. Yesterday also would have been my parents wedding anniversary so I spent the day with my mom. We did a little shopping and played some Wii. Otherwise, its Nina's world is pretty much good!!

That is sooooooo nice of you to spend the day with your mom, I bet that made her feel better then she would have other wise. I mean it's heartbreaking, but it's good your mama has you around for that! You sound like a terrific daughter!

Camiland is good! Lots of work, but that is good. Nothing new really, just keeping busy!

His dad is over 80 and has a history of heart issues. He got out of the hospital/rehab last week after having emergency surgery two weeks previous for a double bypass.

This is going to be another phone interview with one of the VP's. I like to think its a good sign too. I want to go visit!!!!!

Orlando, Mr. M. Mr. Nina has been interviewing with a company there for the better part of 2 months now. Apparently he has made the cuts so far. Fingers crossed. This would be HUGH!!!!!!!!

That's cool that it's just a phone interview. How far is Orlando from where you currently live? Would this job be a big pay increase?

I hope so. I think part of his sounding weak was that he hasn't heard from his "girlfriend" in a few days. She is younger than me, lives in another state and only comes to visit/calls when she wants money. I'd like to bitch slap her.

Oh yeah this would be a pay increase. Not to mention some really cool perks. The job itself would be a challenge. So many issues that really aren't day to day anywhere else. LOL

Nina..sorry to hear that your good news is tempered with the bad stuff. How long would your parents have been married?
My folks were married 55 years when dad died....sad now with the Alz, mom hardly remembers anything about those years.


Terrible about Mr Nina's dad's gf. People who take advantage of the elderly are scum of the earth. It's so hard to watch your parents age.

Best of luck with everything! Job sounds intriguing. Would you be comfortable being further away from your mom/his dad?
