freefall i rafted the naranjo this morning youd like it the guide had no idea where anything was so shit got real.

Choo, we need more details. How many rapids were there? What were the rapid ratings? Was your raft accompanied by canoes or not?

i wasnt counting maybe 9 or 10 rapids? not sure on ratings. 2 ticos left with us in kayaks they helped a little at first then disappeared only to appear an hour later as we came around a bend they were on the shore and threw little lizards at us. was just me 1 other guy and our guide on a little raft.

Wow choo ballsy my friend. Sounds like you are enjoying yourself! Did the rapids have any drops for ya? How much did this trip cost? How and where did you find it? Why did you trust these guys with your life? Did you wear life vests?

Haha boss that! Always up for rafting. Super fun, and defo gives an adrenaline rush, especially when you're about to hit a massive rapid.

My mum and my sister went white water rafting with us once. They were alright, except when my mum wanted to switch places with me, and move to the front of the raft, without knowing the biggest rapid was up next. Her getting flung to the back when we hit the rapid was hilarious!

Only ever been on a Class 3 but the guide said it was a ridiculously high volume of water that day (they have some way to measure that shit, barrels per second or something). Luckily our guide was a bad ass, but it did get dicey at times. Loved the whole experience. Would do it again in a heartbeat.
