No but seriously man, I dunno. When I used to bet, I avoided betting against Denver at home and I had some data to back it up. They have an unusual home field advantage.

Sure they have an advantage and I don't expect Oakland to be ahead at the half it's just that 10.5 points is a pretty big handicap for Denver (little room for error) and I like to think they (the Raiders) cover that number.

I only dabble in NFL ($50 -$100 max wagers) but I learned that laying double digit points is usually a bad bet.

Well after seeing the 1H line keep getting pounded on Denver I ended up taking Denver -9.5 @ Marathonbet.

Pinny has Denver - 10.5 -110.

Marathonbet is very slow to move.

Also got Marlins +102 @ Marathonbet when they were -115 at pinny.

Halladay lasted 1/3 of an inning, walked two and gave up a run.

At first when I didnt see Halladay pitching I thought he may have been a late scratch.

I won teasing Denver- 4, Oakland+ 30 , over 36 and under 62... but lost on Oak 1st half and why not Oak ml... Net win $9.00


One year I did this quite a bit....teasing both teams and totals for max at decent price. Seems like I did pretty well but can't remember for sure. Surely this is a bad strategy, but maybe offhand someone has some numbers on how close the lines have been to the end number overall. Maybe I'll go back and look at Sunday's numbers later.
