from Business Insider Sports Post

Mike McQueary is testifying in a perjury hearing for two top PSU officials right now.

And once again, his account of what he saw in the shower in 2002 is departing a bit from what was described in the grand jury presentment.

"I cannot sit here and be 100 percent sure there was intercourse," he said. "But I believe Jerry was sexually molesting him and having some type of intercourse with him."

"I did not see insertion, nor was there any verbiage, screaming or yelling."

"It appeared that Jerry was directly behind the boy and the boy had his hands up against the wall."

"I know they saw me, they looked directly in my eyes."

McQueary said that he met with Joe Paterno the next day, but did not explain exactly what he saw.

"The rough positioning I would have described, but not in very much detail," McQueary testified.

Asked if he ever used the word "sodomy," McQueary said, "No. Out of respect."

Paterno told him, "I'm sorry you had to see that."

Another big revelation: Curley didn't call McQueary to meet with him until 9 or 10 days after the incident.

He said he described the incident to Curley as "extremely sexual."

"To be frank, I thought I was talking to the head of the police." One of the administrators he met with, Gary Schultz, was technically the administrative overseer of the campus police.

Because he did nothing to stop it. He knows he didn't do what he needed to do and backtracked with emails to friends.

How is he a coward? Sounds like he's describing exactly what he saw and didn't see.

In an email obtained by the Associated Press he tells a friend “I did stop it, not physically,.but I made sure it was stopped when I left that locker room.”

FALSE

The Grand Jury called McQueary's testimony extremely credible.

He says he never did anything to let Sandusky and the boy know he was there. But he did slam a locker shut extra loud to get their attention.

Sandusky's expression was "somewhat blank" when the two met eyes.

He never confronted Sandusky about the incident in the nine years since. Wow.

On a side note, just heard this about Sandusky's lawyer a few days ago and said WTF!

Joe Amendola, the State College, Pa., attorney representing accused child molester Jerry Sandusky, has an interesting back story himself: He got a teen-age client pregnant during the mid-1990s.

Amendola, 63, married the girl several years after the birth of their child, The Daily reported Monday night, citing documents filed at the Centre County, Pa., courthouse.

Amendola represented a 16-year-old girl then known as Mary Iavasile when she filed an emancipation petition in September 1996. The emancipation petition said the girl had graduated from high school in two years with a 3.69 GPA and held a fulltime job at Amendola's law office.

The girl gave birth to Amendola's child when she was 17 years old, her mother, Janet Iavasile, said. Amendola would have been about 49 years old at the time. The age of consent in Pennsylvania is 16.

Janet Iavasile said she didn't know the extent of the relationship between her daughter and the attorney. She thought he was more of a mentor than a paramour.

"She was interested in law," the mother said.

Amendola married the girl in February 2003 and the couple had a second child before they separated. Amendola's estranged wife, now a 32, has retained his last name.

"Joe is a very good father and has loved his two children very much, and that's the most important thing for me right now," Janet Iavasile said.

Joe Amendola did not return calls for comment.

People have been talking about this for a while and I really don't get why. Nothing in that case is against the law so what's the problem? PA sets the age at 16, now everyone wants to change it, or at least criticize someone for following the law?

Yes, no doubt legal but just so weird to have this guy as Jerry's attorney! Wouldn't you want to get somebody with more moral fortitude?

The whole situation disgusts me, people like that should just shot, right between the eyes.

Any fucking idiot that protected the molester can go down with them.

Supposedly years ago, there was an open case with the police, and the chief of police shut it down for reason I am not quite sure of.
