What a hard way to make an easy living. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/tenni...-38-becomes-oldest-no-1-tennis-144512519.html
Useless fact of the day is that Lisa Raymond who is now 38 becomes the oldest #1 in tennis history. Women's doubles...meh. This is the tv filler for the grand slam later round matches that go near bagels. Still being #1 in the world at anything should be a big deal except in women's tennis. Caroline made a living at #1 without winning anything major. Now the ability to pull a Thomas Muster and play any tournament anywhere has lead Raymond to career earnings of over 8 million USD. Not bad.
She must be a worldbeater at doubles..lets peek.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lisa_Raymond is one of the more readable Lisa Raymond accounts...
A career being above average in something and a never quit attitude and work ethic.
Way to go and who really cares except 8Mil being mostly a doubles specialist...good grief..
