Do Red Sox fans cheer for the Yankees? I don't think so.

Toronto Maple Leaf fans DO NOT cheer for the habs, we suffer wiith our team hoping for the day we make the playoffs.

Leaf fans hope bad things happen to the Canadiens.


Why am I writing this? Because too many fuckheads in my city have jumped on the habs bandwagon and are cheering for them as the last Canadian based team with a shot at the Cup.

I don't give a fuck about other Canadian teams winning the Cup, just my Leafs and if they can't win anything I don't care about other teams - especially a team from Quebec.

I wouldn't mind seeing Ottawa/Edmonton/Calgary win a Cup but not Montreal.

Would habs fans in Montreal support the Leafs if we were in the playoffs and the habs out? I don't think so.

Fuck the habs. Even though they have a good chance to make the finals I believe the Stanley Cup champ comes from the west this year.
 
Plommer your not often correct but you are here. Leafs fans do not cheer for the habs, they beat up habs fans every chance they get. They want horrible things to happen to the habs. They would rather die than cheer for the habs. I know I've seen so many Montreal Jersey's on people downtown, I want to body check them into a puddle of water or a ditch to make them realize they are complete fuck heads.

Matty, I don't have a beef with Montrealers cheering for their team, but here in Toronto we have alleged Leaf "fans" that have purchased Montreal jerseys and are cheering for the habs while watching the game in bars! Now if you got a wager on them I understand but no true Leaf fan could ever root for that team from Quebec.

Would Montrealers buy Leaf jerseys and cheer for Toronto if the situation was reversed? I don't think so.

Fucking Toronto Star wanted readers to send in photos of themselves wearing Montreal gear, so I did, I sent some nasty fucking stuff and told them they were fuckheads for starting shit like that in Torontos newspaper.
 
I like Montreal. I like the respect they show for the game, and I like they style they play.

When I was growing up Montreal was the #1 Canadian team. I don't know why some of you Canadian pricks would want that honor to go to San Jose:puke:
 
Reno, before expansion in the late 1960s, all you had was 6 teams in the NHL, Montreal, Toronto, Boston, Detroit, NYR, and Chicago. it seems like forever these 2 Canadian cities hate each others teams and it should stay that way. Right on Plommer!

I grew up a Habs fan and hating the Leafs. I lost all my pro sports allegiances years ago but I think I will jump back on the Habs bandwagon now.

At this point in life, I think I could cheer for the Leafs if they were in the final 4. The bombardment of Leafs propaganda around here is incredibly obnoxious - and I always just want it to shut up so having them eliminated always has its pluses - but I have friends that cheer for the Leafs and I would be happy for them if the Leafs ever finally actually did something.

Habs fans are pretty much the worst fans in hockey. Why does every occasion, positive or negative, need to be marked by looting liquor stores?

Really, why do people think that the CanadiEns represent Canada? The only reason they are in the conference finals is because of a really good Cezch dude.

Why not root for a really deserving CanadiAn player to hoist the cup, Like Toews or Thornton, if you are rooting for Canada?

If you don't hold bitter grudges, you are not a true sports fan.
