How about a mash up?

Sterling owns a failing restaurant that only serves whites but has only black workers.

The staff feels under appreciated and the food is coming out subpar.

The guests have stopped coming.

Gordon Ramsey comes in and changes the theme of the restaurant to soul food and has a open door policy to all minorities.

Sterling realizes blacks spend $$ on food and sales skyrocket.

The only people unhappy are the Asian waiters who make $5 tips on $60 checks.

ya, will see in the morning...

i will be lucky if i dont fucking kill the painter/const. guy that has been halffuckingass working around the house the last month... should have been done weeks ago...shows up with spics , supposed to finish certain shit, and never does... he came over saturday, unannounced and after not calling or showing up for the 3 days before, and i had to call my dad down to let him in... he walks in, paints a spot where he halfass fixed a hole in the wall and then asked my dad to borrow $20 ...said he had a big job to get too... if i was there, i would have split his fucking head... today i call him and tell him he needs to get this shit done and that im not sitting around waiting any this week, so if he doesnt schedule a time to be here, shit isnt happening...he acted like i was being out of line when i told him that the storms from last night dont have shit to do with work he needs to get done inside my house..he doesnt get paid till he finishes, so im really puzzled as to what the fuck is going on the guys head

Don't pay him another fucking cent until all the work is done. I can't believe he borrowed $20 off of your dad. Deduct that from the bill as well. I have my driveway re-paved. they ripped out the old one and laid a new asphalt driveway. I had everything in writing. The asphalt company completely fucked up my driveway and admitted it in emails and in person in front of 2 witnesses that I had with me. They came over a second time to fix all of their errors, but it wasn't satisfactory. I wouldn't pay the contractor a single cent for the work. He came over one Sunday asking for money. Again, I had 2 witnesses with me who witnessed the conversation. The guy flat out admitted that they did a poor job and pleaded with me for money for the job. I basically told him to go fuck himself and not in a friendly GameLive manner. He pleaded again saying he was now in the hole because of his fuck-ups. I gave in and offered him $1. He basically turned around and walked away. I've never seen or heard from him again.

Interesting, just this morning I noticed a new crack in my walkway that he did work on. This fucker also tried to recruit my wife and I into the Baptist church. Fucker had the nerve to phone my wife on a Monday expressing his sadness that he didn't see us and our children in church the other day. Ya like I'm going to spend 3 fucking hours of my life in a baptist church. FUCK!!!

Rays situation kind of reminds me of a similar situation when I hired a crew to do the complete gut demolition on my 2nd floor.

I was looking to just get some unlicensed immigrants, with Mexicans from Home Depot being the last resort. But I wanted to get an idea of what a real construction company would cost, so I called around and and posted an ask on Thumbtack.com (ever used that house?)

I got general ballparks of 3-5.5k

so I figured I'd look to hire some under the radar types for 2-2.5k

I got a quote from a licensed construction/remodeling company for 1800 square feet for 800-1100

I call them, talk to the owners wife, she gets the details, I say its a big job do you want to look at it first... she says her husband and crew will be there tomorrow with a contract for 900.

shows up on Saturday with 3 guys and looks around. says Ok, we sign the contract. He thinks it will take 2-3 days. I pay half up front

4.5 days later after having 4-6 guys work 8-10 hours a day each, they decide to quit at 1:30 for the day.

they've worked about 160 hrs combined, have only been paid 450 dollars to date. and they aren't eager to just finish and get out of their with the rest of their money.

I needed to get a plumber in there for the rough plumbing by the end of that week, so I offered an extra 200 if they finish by 5 the next day.

they finished, using 8 guys did a great cleanup job. and I paid the boss 1200 plus $50 tips to 4 guys that had been there everyday. and 20-40 dollars to the other 2 guys.

they all seemed happy, but I mean paying them 3-4 dollars and hour made me feel pretty shitty.

House, they are based out of englewood, I got their contact info.... they specialize in bathrooms and kitchens, if you ever need the chepest labor ever to pass along to a customer I can Pm you their info/website
 
the outlet that the ac units plug into is Blown... now i gotta call an electrician :sbrjohn: ... have an extension cord running to another outlet for the big ac to run... dont need little one for now... im sure they are on a designated outlet and like i said, the breaker didnt trip, but i dont fucking know... waitin on electrician

ya know, when the guy has his crew here, they get stuff done...but i have yet to pay them a cent, and wont till its done... him making up whoreshit about dodging tornadoes yesterday really pissed me off... dumbest shit ive heard..
 
^^^ he has done 95% of the job and he did it all in the first 10days... its puzzling that he is taking over a week to sand and repaint some minor stuff, spray killz on ceiling stains and fix a hole in the wall the size of my foot...:dunno:

Usually AC's are hard wired....do you have the ones that go in the window?


Check and see if it is a GFCI outlet for outside and wet conditions...


They have 2 buttons on them.....test and reset....hit the reset button...

i do have a window unit , but it sits in the attic...hardly ever been used... but that aint what im talking about... and no... the guy that built the house didnt install any outlets with reset buttons... i went on a mad hunt for one of them last night...mickeyfuckinmouse set up i got here
