I feel like papa george was somehow responsible for gamelive having limits placed on how long we have to edit our posts. Like there is 5 minutes before you get the notification that you edited - and there is some other interval after which you can't edit at all.

I feel like it was papa george's weaseling and attempted backtracking on stuff that led to, no dude, your lies are gonna stand for everyone to see.


I could be wrong about that.
 
I remember assassin showing up and making pronouncements. A lot of people took him fairly seriously - myself included. Future legal consequences for PG seemed completely plausible.

But then MrX kind of analyzed what he was saying point by point, and just picked him apart and pointed out many reasons why he made no sense at all.

And I was like, "Yeah that's true, very true."

Seemed like assassin and PG were just opposite sides of the same coin.

Assassin was dopey delusional guy fighting for the side of good. PG was dopey delusional guy fighting for his right to not have to live as a responsible adult.



Maybe they are both still out there balancing the dopey universe. Dopey yin and dopey yang.

My strongest memory of a specific thread actually goes back to SBR. I wish I could recall the specific details better because it was very funny.

Matty and I were talking about something - can't remember what - probably doesn't matter - anyway PG kept butting in with his low IQ scammish takes on things.

We were going back and forth making fun of him without him understanding he was being made fun of.

Damn I wish I could remember exactly how it all came about but at some point we decided we wanted him to be distracted away from the actual conversation, and Matty posts a flashy gif of some damn thing and sez, "Hey PG look at this."

It was the forum equivalent of jangling some keys in front of his face.

It worked tho as I recall. Anyone with any awareness would have said, "Ha ha, very funny with the friendly joshing at my expense guys." But PG was like, hey that's kind of cool.

Totally missed a chunk of the conversation while dazzled by the flashy gif.
