Some argument these asshats are having with Viacom so as a result we lost a bunch of channels including Comedy Central (TOSH) which is my main issue. Cami just got us $15 off our bill for a couple of months but the main thing is another HD Box for free for the beer pong room which they wanted to charge us around $150 for before these corporate buttfoks decided to sit around, argue and shove h'orderves up each others' asses.

I am not positive if it is because of this Viacom issue or what, but if I remember correctly, after you sign up with, you are eligible for upgrades, I just would rather not pay the $99 for the new HD box, another $50 for installation, plus the now extra $6 a month charge for the leased receiver. Now all I will pay is that extra $6 a month, be warned though when you agree to a contract with them, the duration is usually for 24mnths with charges and/or fees if you so chose to end your service with them early.
I like directv so I do not see me ending service with them.

As far as the internet they offer, I recently learned AFTER getting my provider separately that they partner with CenturyLink.
For the love of God and all things precious, DO NOT go with CentruyLink, especially if you live in a smaller town, they are not worth the money. I do not like them, however, my options are very limited where I live.

last year i wanted to chuck my package and start all over from scratch..they told me NO..so i told them to go fuck themselves and they turned around and offered me the NFL Sunday Ticket for free...

i believe i will try to barter a deal with them again, since we lost those 17 viacom channels...might tell them im dropping them if they dont off the Ticket to me again...

same here, different shit company, different situation

but I called them and told them I was switching to Direct unless they offered me incentive to stay.
got my bill reduced from $150 a month for internet/cable to $99 a month

btw, not like you can't tell, but that was Steve that posted, silly fokker.

I already have the NFL sunday ticket, I love that shit. I don't watch it all the time, but I especially like the one where it's a mix and they have a bunch of different games on one channel.

I think my cable is around 100 a mnth and my net is about 50.
Senco, I had AtlanticBroadBand, I HATED THEM.
