It means that if you could go back with all the information you have later you would do it perfectly...you could see it clearly...In hindsight you could do everything perfectly..but since you don't know the outcome at the time of x action, it may be less than perfect (20/20)

i.e., If I would have known it would have been an issue, I would never have started the food thread, but of course, hindsight is 20/20.

Yeah I have clichs that people use that annoy me. I used the hindsight one with mom this morning just cuz. It was lost on her of course. I guess I say that a lot cause I have had a lot of hindsight lately.
