I really would like to, but fuck it... No Jury Duty

Not cool at all! Last time I did it stayed there all day but got excused (before the attorneys evened said no) from being on an attempted murder jury! In NJ, you get paid $5 a day and legally the company you work for doesn't have to pay you for your absence! Years ago work would get you off but not anymore! Pretty screwed up!

Plus where I live I get to spend a day in lovely Camden, NJ! You know I always thought maybe you could have a system where say 3 appointed judges would decide the case! But first thing that comes to my mind now is the Judges could be named Paterno, Curley, and Schultz! Bottom line is don't commit a crime but if you do have enough money saved to get the right lawyer who can distribute the funds to the right people who have their hands out! America is wonderful!

got a letter for it twice. had to call in on a certain date and they tell you on a recording whether your "group" has to report in or not. I didin't either time...
