I personally am a huge fan of Craftsman, they are my favorite out of all the brands I have tried. Their warranties are awesome and the product is usually always pretty great. Something breaks, replace it for free. IDK if you all have that in Canada or not.

Each and every review say getting out the small sockets is a ridiculous task so I would keep looking..I bought a case the opposite one time and had to keep a towel in the case to keep shit from flopping all over....

Long as you are getting a lifetime warranty you are good to go on the tool side...Just don't get tied into the big number of 229 pieces when many are small little bit insterts.

A good case where the tools fit snugly but not impossible is important so I'd keep looking.

I have been buying HUSKY lately from Home Depot...Lifetime warrenty...but I don't know if they are around your parts.

Matty. I have a Stanley Matte Black set and it has been amazing. Not sure how many pieces mine is but it has a bunch of box wrenches in there too. The sockets actually lock onto the wrench so they don't come off unless you want them to and they fit very snugly inside the case so there is no having them all fall out and having to sit there and put them all back in 1 by 1.

:10:

I started out buying all Craftsman. Switched to Husky because they were cheaper and vendor was closer for me....with the same warranty.

Still can't go wrong with Craftsman for sockets and wretchs and the like...Wouldn't buy their power tools though.

Yeah you can get Craftsman and Husky in Canada but Stanley is also a big name and the list price is a couple hundred higher than the $119 sale price.

Marty, go get the Stanley set pal. Canadian Tire has a great refund policy if you're unhappy.

I've never used much of their power tools, I had a cordless drill at one point that was crap, the battery life was short, and the bits, especially the screw bits, were easily stripped, when through a whole case of them hanging drywall a few summers ago. Ended up going out and buying a nice corded drill, and it was sooo much better, the bits were stronger too...can't recall the brand though. Not sure where it ended up either...hmmm....
