Are some of the people on here pissed because Justin Bieber was heckled and Lightfoot was met with adoration? How the hell can you not love Gordon Lightfoot? Sundown. Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. Lightfoot is a brilliant songwriter, its not Bieberesque, but what is.

gregm, can't believe anyone here could be pissed! Maybe across the street, yes! Best way to compare the two for me is the question, will Bieber be at a Grey Cup performing 40-50 years from now? I doubt it!

Yeah, there is no bigger Lightfoot fan than me but I have passed up a few opportunities to see him live in recent years. Just can't perform any more. Don't want to see it.

I didn't see him yesterday. I might have peeked in if I knew but I didn't have a clue and I sure wasn't watching the halftime show based on what was advertised.

Sad would be a better description, I'm also a longtime Lightfoot fan.
