We're naming our son after Jack Kerouac's real first name - Jean-Louis. Guy was a hugh influence in getting me to waste my life away doing a Literature B.A. Plus my son's gonna be an uprooted Frenchie like ol' Jack.

So yeah. Good avatar pal. :highfive:

Great choice for a name matty. There was a large population of quebecers in lowell mass where jack grew up, I think his ancestors migrated from breton to canada. I just went on a bar crawl of a lot of famous writers bar haunts, sort of like those ghost tours you take in Charleston or new orleans looking at old plantations and pirate lore. I had one of hemingways favorites the mojito the other night, damn good drink. going to try that gin raymond chandler tried
