Tyvm; You are all to kind. I try to post whenever I can. Maybe I will start posting some hockey picks since IAG seems to win more often than not when I decide to share my picks. I recently came across this site for capping and I think it is amazing.

@ Reno. I was going to but when I plugged in in for the first time I realized that it has a bad ground hum/buzz that I have to fix. From what we figured a wire came off in transit and I have to cut a small access hole in the back to re-solder. I contacted the builder and discussed sending it back but we realized he was just going to do the same thing. So, I am going to give it a go next time I'm at the cabin and try to save us $40 in shipping. As a result, he is also now putting access panels in all of his new builds from now on, plus I am getting a cool free T-shirt. I promise to put something up hopefully by the new year. By that point I will also have this AM/FM radio from the 60s or 70s I have converted into a Cigar box amplifier... Should look pretty cool together.

Supposedly on some of the earlier solid state radio's the pre-amp's were pretty good and you can get some very funky sounds out of them if they get modded. I read that the best radios were the ones that had at least 3" speaker and C or D cells.
Apparently all you have to do is solder a 1/4" jack onto the existing volume pot on the radio.. Cool stuff.

That's too bad IAG. They are not that hard to find if you are looking. I looked online and a guy just down the road from me sold me the one in the pic for $20. It all works and has AM/FM/SW bands and it looks to be all hand soldered inside.
