Expecting up to 50 cm when all is said and done. Winds up to 120 km/hr. Storm surge warnings in effect. Storm expected to last 24 hours. I expect this one to shut the city down for 2 days. The high winds will create a large amount of snow and HUGE snowdrifts. No question I will get at least 4' in my driveway. This is a classic Atlantic Canadian Nor' Easter.

Got a full tank of gas in the snow blower and a small jerry can filled to the brim.

The Asian neighbours WILL NOT be assisted. His kid called here 2 times already, but I was on the phone both times and wasn't taking his call. Pucks Playhouse is shut down for the day.

Pray for me and the little puckers!!!

Awes, poor Pucky! Keep us posted babe, don't make us worry! Good luck to you and your family! (though I am sure you will be fine) hope your stocked up on food and other supplies.

Good call on no neighbor kid over during the storm. I wouldn't do that either.

Be safe Puckers!

Spoke way too soon. Little fucker showed up to play with little puckers 20 mins after I posted this. Just showed up ringing the doorbell. Wife is a softie so she answered and welcomed him in with open arms. CUNT!!!

Friday will be +6 and Saturday +10 with sun. Will be some flooding in the city no doubt with storm drains now cleared out. Whatever.

It's definitely very gnarly out there, but so far the wind has been tolerable. Power is still on, but once it get to at least 90+ it starts to bother me. 120 will make me nervous for sure. I only have a small tote box full of firewood (hardwood) for the fireplace in case the power goes out, but my BBQ in the garage has 2 full propane tanks. I'm heading out there in a bit to cut some old shit wood that I have around. I'll try not to cut my fingers off.

Part of me is feeling a wee bit guilty about my snowblower and not helping out the lazy neighbour. I offered it to him to use before so I shouldn't feel bad. There's going to be a significant amount of snow for him to shovel. Fuck I even offered my big scoop for him to use and he never once used it. The old bird lives 2 houses up and I can't allow her to shovel it herself so I might just send the little puckers over to start it in the morning. My conscience is kind of killing me right now, but the dude is a lazy cunt.

You got candles and flashlights around too?

Puckers, if your feeling guilty for not offering to help, you could at least offer him to use your blower or scoop, and if he denies that, then it's on him. I can understand you helping the elderly, but men around our age group are fully capable of doing it themselves.

I offered the scoop before. Just said come in the yard and grab it anytime if you want to use it. I also offered him my lawnmower when he didn't have one. He never tok me up on the offer. Again as you know I did his lawn for one season. Offered him to teach him to use the snowblower, but he never took me up on my offer. He's an awkward cat. He can't even push his own lawnmower. He has absolutely no sense of direction.

There's a lot of snow down and apparently much more to come. The old birds 21 year old grandson is with her so he can handle her driveway.
