But won't using water and letting it sit on the keys cause water damage? My key board isn't that dirty, just dusty under the keys.what about the touch pad on the mouse clickers?

Unless you dump Coca-cola or something sugary on your keyboard, you should be fine. If your keyboard is not that dirty wiping with a damp cloth will suffice as well as a good blast of air.

Some people let their keyboard get pretty nasty. The type of crud in the photo below is the kind that needs a bit of a better wash. The water/alcohol mix won't damage anything as long as you do not immerse it in water.

Net has been slow/dropping all day. I call provider and annoying csr puts me thru 100 hoops to no avail. They are sending tech out tomorrow. The only thing that has changed in the last 24 hours is that the lawn guy came yesterday and did a bunch of leaf blowing and the like. Could he possibly have done something to interfere with my DSL?

She just kept telling me I should increase my speed but it has been fine up until today. If the net keeps dropping that is nothing to do with my computer per se correct? Also causing problems of course with my Ipad which is wireless only.

The technical term for your problem is South Dakota.

Leafblowers have been known to slow DSL connections. I thought everyone knew that.

Also, if cars drive by your home slower than 10 mph your DSL speed will also drop.

Ya know it's been working fine ever since that call ended though..Weird.
