Might be staying at the days inn in vegas for 30 days during the summer. Says its about 1.5 mile walk to the strip casinos. How safe is it to walk around them parts late at night im saying as far as from point a to point b vice versa. Thanks.

Days Inn? Not sure where that would be.

1.5 miles in the summer is not a short walk. It's fucking hot.

What's the address?

If you're looking for cheap, try Hooters or The Quad first. Probably really cheap in the summer.

3330 W Tropicana Ave Las Vegas, NV 89103

Pretty sure quad/hooters a shit load more for 30 days and I'm not concerned about the heat of the walk I have heart and commitment focker to the GAME. I am concerned about chinese triads or mexican stickupmen mugging me. Focker I am considering all options here looking for closest to strip from cheapest price.

Oh. That's the Wild Wild West.

Pretty dumpy but really close to the strip. Lots of low grade strippers and hookers stay there. Just gotta go over the bridge of the 15 and you're at the Excalibur and NY NY.

I expected hookers etc just dont want to walk outside and have the cartels waiting to ted bundy me.

There's a weekly across the street from there called the Budget Suites. Might even be cheaper. They're shitty studio/1B/2B apartments but at least you'd have a stove and refrigerator. Might want to check them out. Probably no worse than the Wild Wild West. They rent by the month too.

Any of those seedy places, you'll have to worry about drug dealers, pimps, shit like that. They aren't the safest places to stay, but they are cheap. But those types usually only concern themselves with their own affairs.

Might be the place focker i don't see a better option thanks for your take.

Check this site out...

http://www.budgetsuites.com/rates.php

Call and get rates for the 3655 W. Tropicana Ave. location. Might be able to match or beat them if you want appliances (might save on food costs).

Either way, that neighborhood (if you can call it that) has a Wendy's, Jack in the Box, Burger King, and Subway nearby. The Wild Wild West also has a Denny's inside of it. But there aren't really any grocery stores nearby. The closest would probably be about 3 miles away (Albertson's @ Trop and Jones).

Are you not going to have a car while in Vegas?

It's sounds like no car to me. Good luck, Patty.

Don't do it patty.

palace station (supposed) free shuttles to the strip yo. TPS FO LIFE

a car would probably be worth the investment

I stayed at the Excalibur for a week which isn't far from there and walked around everywhere by myself and never got hassled at all... As long as you don't involve yourself with those folks, they usualy stay to themselves... I have lived in Toronto for years though and am quite used to being hassled by street people/panhandlers.
