Just wondering what the consensus is on this matchup! If I had to bet would take Wash -3.5 probably buying down to 3! Will be rooting on the Birds but we all know the only reason this is a Monday night matchup is the return of RGIII for Wash and Chip Kelly as the new Philly coach!
From the little I know Wash seems to be a balanced team that could win the NFC East! The Eagles on the hand I see as a 6-8 win team at the most!
Here's my take on the Eagles: Yes, Philly offense has some explosion offensive weapons and a very good O-Line! That and the notion that Kelly will be an offense genius that gets the team to score plenty! WR could be a weak spot!
The defense though could be a major problem! From what I see the D-Line is OK and ILBs good but going to a 3-4 seems to have completely baffled the OLB on how to play in that they really should be DEs in a 4-3! And the secondary could be SERIOUSLY, the least talented in the NFL!
I don't know, Eagles might score plenty but give up more! One thing that Kelly might do is run the ball more than pass with his hurry up offense! Problem I see is opponents controlling the clock and completely wearing out the defense where the Philly offense won't get enough possessions! We shall see!
