It is horrible that's for sure.

My first episode was when I was 18 when I thought a demonic entity entered my body when I was sleeping. When I now go through an episode, I know what's happening and I can force myself to wake up. It's one of the most bizarre experiences I've ever experienced, but like you, I wouldn't wish it on anyone as well.

I would just have the feeling of an overwhelming "evil presence" ...and like if I couldn't wake up I would die...but I couldn't move...no matter what.. Seems like it happened a lot when I was younger and partied a lot...extra tired... somewhere between sleep and awake.....totally paralzyed feeling...scary!

Actually if it was more as if I couldn't MOVE I would die. Because I was awake. ....but asleep....horrible. I do not buy into the alien abduction theorys...but the common denominator of most sleep paralysis sufferers is the feeling of the evil presence which I am not positive is not something completely unrelated to the physiology of the dream state. I know there are a lot of forums and websites out there....This was over 10 years ago since i had my last episode...fucking scary shit. I used to be scared to go to sleep. Lots of people do not understand this is not just a BAD DREAM. Completely different...
