I have had some dooooooozies the last few nights. SO REAL. I always wonder how the mind comes up with these scenarios that I would never concoct in my waking moments. I kind of like them but strange.

I have medium vivid dreams, I would say. There were certain drugs I used to take that caused really vivid dreams and even lucid dreams at times. Nothing like that any more.

But I have a dream or two every night that I remember pretty clearly.

Unfortunately they suck for the most part. In better times I dream a lot about flying or that I can breath underwater and I'm swimming around. I love those. These days it seems like I just have dreams about being unprepared. Maybe I'm starting a new job and people expect something of me and I have no idea what I'm supposed to do.

Crappy crap like that.
 
I have recurring dreams in which I'm being shot at. I immediately realize that I'm dreaming when I'm about to get shot so I usually snap out of the dream by "closing my eyes" real hard inside my dream.

Sometimes I even let myself get shot just to see what happens next. (Nothing much, since dreams don't extend much longer once I realize I'm dreaming.)

BTW I can't get a dream-gun to ever work. Never been able to fire off a good shot - when it doesn't simply fail, the bullet goes too slow.

I do make sure that the dream-safety is off.

Any tips welcomed.

Unfortunately nothing exciting enough that they would be considered oversharing even...they were just SO real. I am going off a medication which is known to cause vivid dreams but damn....

As far as recurring dreams I have had one maybe once a year for a long time...I'm back in high school or college and it's the end of the year and I realize I have not been going to one of my classes all semester and can't graduate....I forgot to drop the class or something but it is a definite feeling that I fucked up. I have read about this in the past and apparently it's a common dream...variation failure to prepare for a test etc...but I forget the Freudian type interpretation that I once read.

Dreams are weird.
 
I've been actually pinching myself in dreams lately. After realizing I can feel no pain I go on to have good dream. (although I don't remember anything that happens after)
Only once did I have to pinch myself in real life :dunno:
 
I used to have focking school dream too, many have I think. Now I have the missing my hockey game dream. I'm there and I'd be ok if I can get dressed in time. But somehow I never get dressed and I end up missing the whole focking thing :dunno:
 
I want someone to analyze these dreams for us. The school dream really weirds me out cuz it is so similar each time. I know it has to mean something, and it's probably pretty obvious if I really took the time to think about it.

I have that stinking dream all too often! If I'd known that 19 years after graduating I'd still be dreaming about missing class, I would never have cut a single class. Never.
