Do you say Cuss or Cruse?

Truly an either/or situation. Me, I don't use either. My go-to word would be swear.

If I have to vote - and apparently I do - I would give a slight, slight edge to cuss since it just means that one thing, while curse has a broader definition, some of it having nothing to do with profanity which I assume is what we are talking about here.

Good talk.

I use curse but Muddy has me thinking possibly MrsM uses swear? Have to check it out next time! And Cami cuss I believe is the go-to word for hillbillies!

Granny: your nephew is a fuking moron!
Jed: Granny now, please no cussing!
Granny: well he ain't a brain surgeon!
Jed: uh huh!

Seriously I would normally say "swear." I might use "curse" in the the context of "curse words,' if anything. Lately I have found myself occasionally using cuss but not as a adjective, only as a verb (gerund.)

Man, I'd love to watch the Beverly Hillbillies with Mr.M's dialogue
