The info I don't have is tone and that could make all the difference. Is their humor/irony? Is she crass?

It sounds like we are off to a bad start but I would need more information. No sense just storming out of the room or whatever. I would explore a bit.

Is she asking how much I have in my pocket because maybe she has an idea for some form of entertainment for that moment and she only has enough to pay for herself? That's not so bad. Is she asking how much I have in the bank and if I am secure for retirement or, indeed, wealthy?

I would have some admiration for her directness. If that's a deal-breaker issue for her then why play games and beat around the bush? Maybe she has met a string of guys who are broke-ass mooches and she wants to nip that action in the bud.

If it turns out she is just very superficial and tacky then she would not be the sort of person I am looking for. If the point of her question is to find out if I'm rich because that's what she is looking for then, me not being rich, would not be good for her. Good to find out and not waste a lot of time.

And I would enjoy the coffee together (or whatever we are doing) then go our separate ways.

Muddy it was our 1st date and she said it in a way that i found both abrupt and almost forcful, like it wasnt the 1st time she had asked the question.

Needless to say the walls in my mind went up str8 away and my response was that i have had my gold dug before so if that's your angle then thankyou but no thankyou.

She assured me it wasnt but for me the deal breaker was the fact that it was the 1st thing she said. I thought 'do i look like i have stupid written on my face?'

Last partner i was with for over 2 years and it wasnt until around two years into things that she told me she owned several properties and was worth mid seven figures, such is the extent to how very little i care about $$$ over contents of her character.

I feel sorry for anyone that gets into a relationship primarily because of the size of their partners wallet.

Btw, last i heard she was still single and wondering why she couldnt find a guy she could trust...

Plommer, back in the day i knew a couple of boys that would awaken early (like 4:30amish) every saturday and sunday morning.

Their objective simply was to drive around the clubs in the city and pick scatterred chicks that had pulled all nighters...

I have had some great times over the years cruising neighborhoods during the wee hours.

It's not like there are millions of broads out there every night but there are enough.

You would be surprised at the amount of broads I've picked up at bus stops where their is no overnight service.
