How the fuck does one count buisness days?

Just wondering if I fucking faxed something on Wednesday the 16th at 8am et, the place opens at 9am, and they get back to me today how many business days did it take them to get back to me? And I know yesterday was a holiday.

Just wondering what the standard method of counting days is.

So you dont count the day they get back to you? Thats fine, guy told me he got back in 2 days, says the day I sent him the info doesn't count, even though they had info before they opened.

Some people/companies will weasel and spin that shit in ridiculous ways. There is no standard. They will create whatever definition suits them.

I think everyone would agree you don't count Saturday or Sunday or the holiday. In your situation, any non-retarded person would call it 3 days. (3 and whatever fraction)

I have dealt with companies like that. They are like some delusional SBR forum idiot trying to convince themselves of some lie.

On a forum it's just pathetic nonsense; but it's particularly stupid in business because you can convince yourself of whatever you want all day long - if your customers think you're a weasel then that's what's going to effect your bottom line.

I try to avoid companies that like using business days as a metric. Just include the weekends as regular days. If you need to use business days then odds are you're being dodgy about something.
