Man that was the craziest shootout i've ever seen. i hate the shootout and think the NHL should go with 4 on 4 for 5 mins and then 3 on 3 for another 5 if need be.

I watched the entire game on CBC.

Shootout was fun to watch, all 30 shots!

I love seeing the arena in Buffalo full of Leaf jerseys (fans).
As soon as the "go Leafs go" chant starts the Sabres fans boo loudly.

Great rivalry.

Games in Buffalo are home games for the Leafs, lol.

Plommer I hope the regular season games are as watchable as these. Edm/Van now. Edmonton has the nicest looking ice :

Reno I think scoring will be higher with the new rules and smaller goalie equipment and more room behind the goalnets.

Edmonton always has excellent ice.
As a matter of fact the ice crew from Edmonton was brought in for the olympics in Salt Lake to create and maintain the surface for the winter games.

Really like the new icing rule. Really speeds up the game and makes it more difficult for the team that ices the puck.

now they are showing game 4 detroit/chicago from last year. Looks like a good game too. Seems like the game looks faster since I stretched the picture to cover the wide screen. could that really be?

John Scott is a complete idiot. Colton Orr or Fraser McLaren are going to put this tool in his place on Nov 15. I love Clarkson, but coming off the bench like that was just plain dumb as it's an automatic 10 game suspension.

The Leafs had some pretty interesting goalies the last while. Felx Potvin and Bernier are pretty good scrappers. Belfour was just plain nuts. I'm going to have to find a place in my heart for frenchie Bernier. I think I can do it.

I honestly can't see there being too many tie games after a 5 minute 3 on 3. Maybe a shootout after the 3 on 3.
