I saw this outfit listing bookmakers from Europe and some Costa Rican based books.

Costa Rican books get much lower scores for financial security, as they should.

I think these guys are credible.

Pinny has a 6/10 rating for financial security?

Why is that surprising? Do you really think that Pinnacle is as financially sound as a book listed on the stock exchange in Europe, like Ladbrokes or William Hill?

I do believe that...... I think pinny is probably one of the most financially stable books.

they take 50k wagers on NFL sides and EPL games. I think they are A ok.

But they are privately owned and do not report financials to anyone they are not a publicly traded company either. To think they are even close to Ladbrokes in terms of financial stability or volume is crazy.

Ladbrokes has shops all over Europe, as well as online operations. Pinny has nowhere near the options of getting money into or out of the sportsbook compared to Ladbrokes.

Pinny may well be financially stable, but are tiny in comparison to the big UK books.

Centrebet and IASbet will take 100k on EPL games, Ladbrokes probably would as well, the difference? Your money is as safe as can be as regulations stipulate that funds be held separately in order to ensure enough funds to satisfy payouts.
Who does Pinny have to satisfy? The Netherlands Antillies government?

I'll admit I'd be more comfortable with money in Pinny than ANY Costa Rican shop, bookies setup in CR for many reasons, but being regulated isn't one of them.

You know who else is privately owned?

Bechtel.

Bodog is what passes for the eighth best book in the world according to them? Scary.

I don't think so, I think they are combining the ratings for an average. You can click on one of the categories and sort books via different criteria.

Any site that has Betfair, Bet365 and Ladbrokes in the top 3 books has a very good methodology. Sure they're not the best books for everyone, sure Bet365 will limit you to $5 if you're even vaguely sharp, sure most of the people here can't play at them but they are top class books. And if using that methodology Bodog makes the list then so be it.

In our rating system we have identified over 500 different parameters that are used to explain each bookmaker's offer.

However, that one is odd. If you're constructing a statistical model for something, you're generally not going to have 500 variables. For something as simple as ranking a sportsbook, I'd be pushed to come up with 10.

Polaroid are you a girl???????????

Fiver calm down that is not polaroid in his avatar.

That is a girl from American Idol that got the boot this week.

She got the boot? I never watch the show, I only read Robyn's write ups. But I will definitely never watch the show now.

BetOnSports was listed on the stock exchange in London.
