Betting (against) horses on Betfair

I've been betting/laying horse wagers for a little while now on Betfair.

My strategy is to book action on favourites in select races at Woodbine and US tracks.

As a longtime horseplayer I love that I can wager against a horse to win.

So far so good. I am up a fair amount after a short period of wagers.

I love Betfair.

I basically bet against favourites, especially in large fields.

I'll lay the 2-1 fav in a 10 horse field, basically risking $200 to win $100 and I have 9 horses vs 1.

In races with a 3-5 favourite you get better than even money if you book it and it gets beat.

I have some knowledge of racing at Woodbine and try to focus my efforts there. In the winter I'll stick to NY & FL thoroughbred racing.
