Best way to convert 843.551 MB to under 250 MB?

Trying to send something to someone via gmail and they have their 250 mb limit, debating just buying a thumb drive and sending. Please don't say Mesh or Googledrive or any file sharing things I need to convert and Zip ain't cutting it.

Split it into multiple files with the compression software (zip, rar, 7zip, tar, etc.).

Going to try this ty, you can split and then have the other person merge one large file?

Yeah. They just have to put all of the files in the same directory and they can extract like normal.
